Alexander Zammit (b. 1989) is based in Malta and works in the cultural heritage sector as an operations manager with Prevarti, bringing academic preparation and practical experience in psychology that complement his managerial role.
His engagement with the art world stems from his academic training in philosophy, combined with an avid interest in art history, critique, and appreciation. This interdisciplinary approach enables him to navigate the intersection between art, psychology, philosophy, and theology. Drawing from this confluence of disciplines, Alexander has delivered seminars at the University of Malta, Oratory MSSP and Youth Fellowship Communities.
His curatorial practice debuted with For Want of (not) Measuring, a satellite exhibition during the Malta Biennale 2026, where he is responsible for concept development, project management, funding acquisition, and essay writing. He has subsequently been commissioned to contribute essays to various exhibition catalogues.
Since 2018, Zammit has been a regular contributor to the Christian Spirituality section of the Sunday Times of Malta, synthesising his multidisciplinary training to comment on contemporary socio-cultural realities.
He is co-founder of CLASS, a start-up that connects arts experts and art enthusiasts through the curation of cultural guided visits in Malta and internationally.
